WRUP All DPS Players Are Sharks Edition

It's time for us to reveal a fact that many MMO players aren't aware of The truth is that all DPS players are sharks. You may be wondering why so many DPS are addicted to the mantra "GOGOGO" because slowed down even a fraction of a second means they will die. They have to keep swimming and killing. This is what MMOs are doing to sharks around the world. It's not necessary to ask how sharks play or type. The rogue who refuses to wait for the tank, healer, or any other DPS can't help but to do what he does. He's a shark.

One of the Massively staff might be a shark, but I'm not able to confirm or claim it. Perhaps he or she reveals his or his status as a shark in this week's WRUP or maybe it's just our usual summary of our weekend plans as always. It's not until you read the next section. However you can inform us by leaving a comment below about what you're doing.

@Beau_Hindman - I'm definitely playing more State of Decay. It's a fantastic game and is definitely one of my top favorites for single player games of the year. For MMORPGs I'm experimenting with the limits of Minecraft's MMO-ness I'll be playing the latest patch for DC Universe Online, and I'll also be experiencing some action in Neverwinter which I think is among the most beautiful and sounding MMOs currently available.

@nbrianna It's sure to be entertaining!

@Eliot_Lefebvre: World of Warcraft is currently my game of choice in my side slot, and though there are many elements in there which I'm not entirely happy with, I'm enjoying myself. Beyond that, I have more Final Fantasy XIV questing and endgame shenanigans that I want to take part in which is why that will be my main focus.

@Sypster - I don't have any big plans for the weekend. I'm in pre-launch countdown mode for Lord of the Rings Online: Helm's Deep, so I'll probably try to run some more scenarios in The Secret World and perhaps explore a bit of this World of Warcraft thing the youngsters are all over these days. 53vv

@mvmatt: My weekend plans include schoolwork, soup and If I'm lucky, some video games. I'll be playing Warhammer Online, to remind myself why it was a failure and to reminisce about the wonderful things that almost made me stay, before the servers close next month. In addition I'd like to get back into Guild Wars 2 or The Secret World. I've neglected these games for quite a while. Perhaps, just maybe, I could stop some fools on Battlefield 4.

@MikedotFoster - This weekend, I'm checking out the Three Spirits Dota 2 Update. I'll also be back in World of Warcraft, as the Warlords of Draenor announcement has me all excited.

@MJ_Guthrie - I intend to focus my gaming time (and there will be some, illness be damned!) trying to do more in the war on Filth in The Secret World. I am a sucker for the pet and bee suit so strongly that I don't even know how to earn enough tokens. But I will try! Did I mention I am stubborn? When I'm not playing I'll be playing a game or two and testing new builds. I will also spend the weekend trying to decide which race to use for my first Channeler in EverQuest II. It's been narrowed down to Ratonga or Kerra. Once I've got this, I will only need about 30 more hours to modify the look. Oh wait, then there is the whole name thing...

@RichieProcopio This weekend I'll be intoxicated. I'm not attending an evening at a frat. I'll be in the Tower of Nightmares in Guild Wars 2 to see what Scarlet and her new serpentine friends have been up too in Kessex Hills. Oh and Hearthstone!

Every weekend, we meet up with Massively staff members to ask them "What are your favorite games?" (Otherwise known by: WRUP!) Join us to discover what we're doing both in and out of the game -- and catch us in the comments to tell us what you're playing, too! 53vv 53vv
