Minecraft creators literally can't stop creating new games, and we don't want to stop them. At the end of March we wrote about a player who'd recreated Wordle in the game and today we're bringing you someone who recreated the legendary Minesweeper by using Redstone and an insane amount of moving parts.

CraftyMasterman designed the map and then posted a Reddit post showing it off. News for dummies Although the video doesn't display much other than the scale of your device, it looks amazing. Lava is used to represent the numbers, and there's even a small map that you can carry around of sorts to look at while playing. It's an exact replica of what's happening on the board.

CraftyMasterman has a video that shows how this build was constructed. This project was part of a massive Redstone build contest that offered a $10,000 USD prize pool for the top Redstone creation.

CraftyMasterman was not able to finish the build within the time frame allowed for the competition judging. However he kept working on the project after staking his claim to fame of a redstone legend. He spent the next two weeks working on it, going through multiple variations before finally presented a prototype to the judges of the competition.

Even for a seasoned Minecraft player, the complexity of the build is staggering. The builder must not only build the board, which is huge and massive, but also display numbers, count how many TNT blocks are within it, and randomize it in a way that makes the game enjoyable. It's not something an average Minecraft player could do or have the patience for.
