When we were shopping at our local Office Max store, they had a display of Secret Santa gifts, and we purchased a Pen Holder LCD Clock, made by the Sun-Mate Corporation.
Nothing says rock-and-roll rebellion like skintight, slick leggings. Rihanna loves this look and you will too with Romeo & Juliet Couture's leather book leggings. They're only $28.90! You can dress these down (with an oversized v-neck pocket tee and gladiator sandals) or dress them up with a flowy, feminine halter and peeptoe pumps. Rihanna often wears her latex leggings with 80's inspired t-shirts or black-on-black.
Sometimes, writing on the book while reading is something other people want to do. They may find an interesting word to note by marking it for easy recall. Having a personalized pen would mean a lot because they can use it while doing their well-loved hobby.
Interestingly, I've found that when the scale suddenly showed a loss, greater than expected, it seemed to induce in me a desire to remedy that situation. I'd overeat that day and the next, somehow unraveling any good I'd done previously. Even with all the knowledge and sense in the world, we still become unsensible in the face of our judge and juror, the bathroom scale!
Hot shoes of the day only 9.99! While click here is buzzing about the hazards of over spending; few people will find any harm in picking up a pair of heels for only 9.99. No need to worry about hindering economic growth or unfair taxes.just pay shipping and handling.
On Saturday, November 13, 2010, 9 am - noon, Pam will teach a class called "Two Sewn as One". Students will learn how to cover boards with cloth and paper as well as sew a two signature book structure. Participants create an impressive hard cover book with a cloth colored spine, decorative paper cover, and cream colored text pages. Cost is $39.
This last one I made took the most time, measures 5" across. It's my favorite although my daughter might not even EVER wear it. I used my same scrap of faux leathery material. I cut a large circle and 5 large petals, 5 medium petals, and 5 small petals. Then it was time to hot glue. I started with the big circle and hot glued petals one at a time onto to the circular piece and ended with another circle on top. I used "Amazing Quick HOLD Contact Adhesive" to glue all the beads shown in the photo.
I took a long piece of green ribbon and folded it twice so that each end piece met and overlapped in the middle. As you can see in the photo, the green bow took up almost half of the headband. Then, I cut a smaller piece of green ribbon--just enough to wrap around the bow, to make the center. I hot glued them together in the back. Next, I wrapped the headband with floral wire just enough to cover the headband where I wanted the bow to rest, off to one side. Next, I added hot glue on top of the headband and floral wire where I wanted the center of the bow to rest. Then I hot glued down each underside of the bow.
