Following the somewhat bizarre experience modeling for the group of pupils in the cold dimly lit pub in Manchester my next modelling session shortly after was rather more normal

One of my original e-mails, when I was searching for chances, was to a group run by the WEA near Chester and after a little while the coach came back to me and asked me if I could do a session for her on a Wednesday afternoon starting at 1:00 and running through to 4:00.
While I was really pleased to accept the request it did rather concern me as to whether I had enough expertise to fill that period of time with enough distinct poses given that this was a more proper and educational group than the previous sessions I had done.

After an exchange of e-mails the coach and I agreed a rough programme for the session which will start with a series of about five poses of one minute each, followed by two or three standing poses lasting between five and fifteen minutes and a couple of seated poses continuing around twenty minutes. This would subsequently cause a short break to be followed by one seated pose lasting for the remainder of the session of about 50 minutes.
This at least gave me a chance to think of what I should do and likewise an opportunity to try a couple of poses at home while timing myself to find out how long I could hold them. While not always a problem for the seated poses, the more dynamic standing poses can prove difficult and sometimes even debilitating with arms and or legs held in unusual positions for any period of time beginning to ache or cramp up.
So I turned up at the designated time on the day and affirmed the planned programme together with the coach and did the session as agreed. The artists, chiefly women of a particular age, were all very pleasant and were all quite complimentary, which given that this was only my third session, gave me added confidence for the future.
The session should have been a success as, before I left the studio that day, the tutor had requested me to return for two more sessions a month after. Again url was very happy to agree but suddenly came to the realisation that in that intervening period I was really going to need to work out a lot more poses to fill those three hour sessions.
Luckily I had several art books and also scoured the internet to find a great amount different poses that I really could use, so I managed to fill the sessions satisfactorily.
Since then I've been working with the coach for this group on a regular basis and have modeled for nearly twenty sessions. Luckily there has been some change in the artists attending over that time so I've really been able to replicate a number of the poses more or less as I initially performed them or with only minor variation.)
